Has anyone else been finding the site particularly slow as of late? The past day has had puzzles taking a much longer time to load than usual, and some of my times don't get uploaded to the page until after a little while.
Yep; just got me. Screen froze when I went to save the killer-jigsaw and made me log back in (and lost my progress/completion). I was noticing a slight delay before that.

Yes. Yesterday morning was fine. Today it is much slower (~ 5-10 seconds, maybe) whenever the site needs to access its database.
The bad thing is that the time starts counting when you open the puzzle, not when it is fully loaded. So this delay skews the recorded times.

Same here, plus for the last few weeks some puzzles (mostly Slitherlinks?) occasionally open but nothing registers until you refresh it, which of course then puts you in the second column.

I don't know of any reason why it would be slow, but I'm very sorry about that and apologise for the inconvenience.
I can't see anything wrong now, but if it happens again and it's causing significant problems please email gareth@anypuzzle.com since I'm more likely to see that promptly. Every so often I run a backup, and that really does make the site slow for several minutes, but that doesn't correspond with the reported issue here (and it would be finished within 10 minutes).
As for catkinpuzzlemix's issue, that must be a browser-specific issue. Does the panel appear to the right? Do any of the buttons do anything? Puzzlemix uses extremely basic web controls since it is over 20 years old, so if it doesn't respond that's almost certain to be a fault in the browser - but if I can reproduce it I can try to work around it. But I've never had or reproduced this issue, and I'm afraid no one else has reported it so I'm not sure where to begin with that. If the grid appears at all then it is running the site scripting, so I don't know what's going on there. Have you tried rotating your device one way (and then back again) to make it rerender the page? That might work around a device issue.

Key
A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
