This puzzle was fun - the real puzzle to me though is what kind of sick joy @purrs gets by speed-running "show wrong moves" through every puzzle every day, and if that top spot is truly worth it.

I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzle!
Just to add, though, that there are no rules for the second column in the ranking table so everyone is welcome to solve however they wish. The first column is for those who want to compare times. Personally I think it's perfectly reasonable if you intend to skip a puzzle anyway to open it and rapidly follow a series of guesses and see how far you can get before you end up with a red number, which you then amend and continue. Isn't that better than never opening that puzzle at all?
I do not know how you set about doing the puzzles. I am not at all interested in how you do them. It is none of my business how you do them.
We all do the puzzles our own way. It's nobody else's business how we do them.
"What kind of sick joy" do you get from your comment about purrs????

Purrs does not use show wrong. I also like to to Hitoris that way (using the show repeated which is a major aid, but not a show wrong), and to be fair purrs almost always quicker than me.

That's true - the '^' next to their time means they didn't use 'show wrong'. It doesn't mean that they didn't continually hit the 'Check solution' box to achieve the same effect, however, but I think if you were going to do that you would just check 'show wrong' anyway. Either way, the comment was not fair - but I left it up because I thought the response was more useful than to just hide it.

I can pretty much understand why pussle is upset. They compares their result against purrs, and feels bad being much slower. Pussle: you should NOT compare your result against someone using different aids. It like if you participate in a bike race with a regular bike, why others use e-bike. Both OK but not comparable. And of course some wording might be inappropriate.

Key
A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
